MicaSense Downwelling Light Sensor 2 (DLS 2)
In stock
MicaSense Downwelling Light Sensor 2 (DLS 2): Replacement incident light sensor for accurate radiometric correction The MicaSense Downwelling Light Sensor 2 (DLS 2) is an incident light sensor used to improve radiometric accuracy in multispectral data collection. Mounted on top of the aircraft with an unobstructed view of the sky, it measures ambient illumination and sun angle throughout a flight. This information is embedded directly into image metadata, allowing processing software to compensate for changing lighting conditions. DLS 2 comes standard with Altum-PT and RedEdge-P sensor kits and is offered here as a replacement or spare accessory for professional operations.
