The RIX STORM S6R is the value leader among 640-class thermal scopes with a rangefinder: a 640x512, 12 micron VOx core at under 20 mK NETD behind a 35 mm F1.0 lens, with 2x base magnification and 1-4x digital zoom. The integrated laser rangefinder reaches 1,312 yards at plus or minus one meter and feeds a built-in ballistic calculator. Detection runs out to about 1,969 yards, and the scope weighs roughly one pound with a QD mount in the box, light enough to run handheld as a scanner. Backed by a 5-year warranty.
